Welcome Coach Carly, Occupational Therapist

Qi Creative welcomes Carly Puddicombe, Occupational Therapist, to the Qi Creative Team!

About Carly

Image description: Coach Carly sits in a golf cart with her dog Ellie, a white and tan sheltie, by her side.

Carly graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology. Carly later went on to complete her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy, where she developed a passion for supporting children with complex needs to engage in meaningful activities.

Carly has experience working with children and teens who have history of developmental trauma and attachment injuries. As Carly believes that healing occurs within the context of relationship, she values building authentic connections with clients and their families. Carly works collaboratively with clients to harness their strengths and co-create “out of the box” strategies to better meet their needs.

In Carly’s free time, you can find her spending time with her dog Ellie, exploring new restaurants, creating art work, playing sports with family and friends, watching reality television, and attending community events. A fun fact about Carly is that she loves haunted houses.

Words from Carly

I have really enjoyed my experience over the past month at Qi Creative! I am amazed by how friendly and welcoming the team is. I appreciate that the team has gone out of their way to support my learning and provide me with excellent shadowing opportunities!

Some highlights of my experience have been skating with a client in Barrhead, a day trip to Drayton Valley with the team, and exploring new cafes.

I am so excited to see what the future brings!
