Heather Sherwood

Speech-Language Pathologist & Coach

Heather believes that every person, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the opportunity to be heard. She feels privileged to be a part of the process of helping people find their voices. Heather brings her sense of humour, passion for helping others, and compassion to children with communication needs and those who support them.

Heather graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master's in Speech and Language Pathology in 2010. She has over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages with a wide variety of communication needs all over Alberta. She even got to spend one glorious year and a half in England, working as a speech pathologist!

Heather continues to be drawn to Qi Creative because of the opportunities to flex her creative muscles while working closely with families of children with diverse communication needs and backgrounds. She also feels lucky to collaborate with her amazing and talented colleagues at Qi. When not travelling the Alberta highways and backroads, Heather loves rock climbing, D & D, swimming, curling, and spending time with her husband, two young children, and their cat, Willow.
