My Name Is Trauma - Training and Workshop
My Name is Trauma (MNIT) creates an opportunity to learn about Trauma in a way that is educational and practical, and also playful and imaginative. “Trauma The Tiger” is used to represent the effects of trauma in the body and the natural impact that a traumatizing experience can have on a child.
The approach helps children externalize a traumatizing experience so that they can normalize its impact on their lives. Creative interventions that are sensory based are discussed and explored as the best way to regulate and calm emotions, create resilience, and move from victim to survivor.
Qi Sensory Behaviour Detective - Training and Workshop
Qi Sensory Behaviour Detective shares that behaviour is neither good nor bad; and is the result of the environment and situational context that surrounds a person.
It provides an understanding as to why children behave, react, and learn differently based on these factors; how becoming a sensory behaviour detective helps to discover the different sensory needs that motivate children to learn positive behaviours; and how to adapt the environment to avoid sensory stimuli that can trigger a challenging behaviour.
About Jon Jon Rivero, Keynote Speaker
Jon Jon Rivero is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, the Global Speakers Federation, and has served and connected with thousands of people all over the world. As the Founder and CEO of Qi Creative Inc.
He integrates his creative talents and passions to inspire children, adolescents, families, and schools, embracing all abilities and trauma by celebrating talents and strengths to overcome challenges. Jon Jon co-authored the International Children’s Book, My Name Is Trauma and conducts seminars, keynotes, and resilience training in disaster relief areas. He is featured internationally at educational and leadership conferences around the world.

Balikbayan Project
Since 2007, the Balikbayan Project has set out to improve the quality of life of children living on the street and families embracing all abilities in under served areas of the Philippines.
The team consists of Canadian professionals from Health, Social Work, Rehabilitation Medicine, Sports & Recreation, Film, Geophysics, and Business who collaborate together to use their own tool belt of talents and skills to serve others in need.
Qi Creative has developed many programs, including the Pagpasabot Awareness Street Festival and Talent Showcase, the Leadership And Life Skills Program, Trauma Informed Care Training, Bio-Sand Water Filtration Training, and a Mentorship Training Program.
