Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists (OTs) collaborate with clients who experience challenges due to impairments in body structure, changes in function, or barriers in social and physical environments. They enable engagement in meaningful everyday activities by assessing and enhancing factors related to the person, environment, and occupation.

Speech-Language Pathology
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) collaborate with clients to screen, assess, identify, and treat challenges in speech, language, voice, fluency (including stuttering), cognitive and social communication, pre-literacy and literacy skills, and feeding and swallowing. They also advocate for the prevention of communication and swallowing disorders.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapists (PTs) collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, functional activities, specialized equipment, education, and play. These plans promote independence, lifelong fitness, health, and wellness while supporting physical function and participation in movement, activities of daily living, and recreation in home, school, and community settings.

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapists are mental health professionals who collaborate with individuals and groups to identify, understand, and address personal issues, fostering emotional well-being and achievement of personal goals. They provide a safe, confidential environment for exploring thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Behaviour Specialists
Behaviour Specialists collaborate with clients to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behavior outcomes and enhance meaningful participation in everyday life. They apply therapeutic practices such as positive behavior support, functional behavior assessments, cognitive behavior therapy, and behavior modification plans. Professionals in this role may hold designations from related disciplines, including occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, human ecology, or physical therapy.

Family Coaching
Our coaching team, across all our specialties, apply a collaborative model based on mutual trust, idea sharing, and support to engage families across specialties. They deliver evidence-based interventions and curricula, such as Triple P Parenting, HeartMath, and Hanen More Than Words, either to individual families or through group workshops.

Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma-Informed Care professionals collaborate with clients affected by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), including violence, abuse, and neglect. They employ approaches centered on safety, connection, patience, and structure, along with creative interventions focused on movement, expression, and resilience, to address the physiological and psychological effects of trauma.

School & Classroom Support
Qi Creative collaborates with care homes, daycares, elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools across Edmonton and Greater Alberta to provide specialized assistance to students. They support teachers, aides, and administrators in developing and implementing student accommodations, interventions, and plans, whether building on existing teams or establishing new ones.
