Crystal Kroening

Speech Language Pathologist & Coach

The whole world smiles in the same language.

Crystal graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Speech and Language Pathology. Her diverse clinical practice offered her a wide range of clinical experiences and solidified her passion for this work. Qi Creative offered Crystal new clinical challenges and the opportunity to exercise her wide variety of interests, including speech, apraxia, fluency, and phonological awareness.

She believes that communication is more than just words: it’s an identity in your culture, village, and family, and that every message needs to be heard. She loves people, culture, and language and has known since she was a child that she would be in a profession dedicated to helping others. She feels fortunate to be able to combine her passion for communication with her drive to help others through the profession of Speech and Language Pathology.

Before becoming a Speech and Language Pathologist, Crystal was a dedicated Respite worker and loved working with families with a variety of needs. She grew up in a small town in the Rocky Mountains and loves spending time in nature. Crystal adores cooking and trying new foods; she dances, plays music, and loves hitting the slopes. She laughs often and sings her joy.

The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn’t said.
