Emily truly believes in cultivating positivity and happiness in her professional and personal life. By sharing her knowledge and experience in speech language pathology, she hopes to give a voice—and a smile—to children with communication needs. Emily is very passionate about developing her speech and language therapeutic skills and strives to learn something new every day!

Emily graduated from St. John’s University in New York with her Master’s of Arts in Speech Language Pathology. Her past experience includes working with the geriatric population at a nursing care and rehabilitation center. She is also a certified Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities in New York State and has over four years experience working in the public school system. Emily immigrated from the United States in February of 2019 and could not be happier to call Canada home.

Emily is passionate about developing speech, language, and social skills in the pediatric population and encourages growth through play. Emily wanted to become a member of the Qi Creative family because she truly believes that being a positive role model and spreading positivity to others in the world creates a meaningful life that is meant to be celebrated. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, hiking, playing with her dog Ranger, reading, listening to music, cooking, and learning new things.
