Kris Vicente

Occupational Therapist & Coach

Voted ‘class clown’ by their grad school peers, Coach Kris loves to laugh and make others do the same. Easygoing and open-minded. Excels at sports and taking naps!

Kris graduated from Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta and has been working with children with developmental disabilities and their families ever since. In high-school Kris dreamed of a career that would allow her to play every day and never grow up. Being an Occupational Therapist has allowed her to achieve that dream AND has given her the opportunity to learn from so many unique and special families. She especially loves seeing relationships grow as parents and caregivers gain confidence in their ability to support their children to learn new skills.

Outside of work Kris enjoys spending time with her family playing games, eating snacks, and watching movies together. She probably spends too much time on Instagram and not enough time reading books but loves to learn new things regardless of the medium. Her favourite TV show is Jeopardy! and she will never say no to making a puzzle or building a Lego set.

There is freedom waiting for you on the breezes of the sky, and you ask “what if I fall?” Oh but my darling, what if you fly?
